I cannot tell you the number of times one of my kids has fallen down, and I don’t have a bandaid anywhere. I have had complete strangers whip out a bandaid in order to help my bleeding child. So, today, we’re going to focus on a little project that you can keep in your vehicle: A First Aid Kit. I know I need one, and maybe you could use one too. I just grabbed a small plastic tote to put my supplies in. I figure it’s easy to clean if anything spills.
Here are the items I chose to put into our family first aid kit:
- 2 Instant Cold Compresses
- 1 Package of Bandaids
- Hand Sanitizer
- Tweezers (because slivers are the worst)
- 2 Bottles of Water
- Antibacterial Ointment
- Anti-Itch Cream
- Bug Spray (Which I’ll Add in the Summer)
- Blanket (Although this isn’t kept in the tote, we do have several blankets in our van)
I now have this tote safely in the trunk of the van, ready for all the bumps & bruises that are bound to come my way.
