Happy Wednesday! It is time for a $100 Room Challenge update, but first, let me just say that I am so excited to have 45 bloggers participating in the challenge this month! How fun is that?! And… if you’re not a blogger and would like to join us, use the hashtag #100roomchallenge on Instagram so we can see what you’re up to 🙂
Because our update isn’t super exciting this week, I thought I’d start with something that is exciting… Yesterday I headed over to The Jason Show (a local show here in the Twin Cities) and got to talk about the $100 Room Challenge and share a few ways to turn your trash into decor. Take a look…
My first thought is: why on earth did I point out the toothpaste splatter on the bathroom mirror? #keepinitreal
For tutorials mentioned in the segment:
- DIY Wood Overlay for Wire Shelving
- Vanity Makeover
- Framing Bathroom Mirror
- Cereal Box to Lint Box
- Cardboard Chalkboard Sign
So, let’s talk about that mudroom we’re working on this month. One of my goals was to clear out all the pantry items, and if you are over on Instagram, you may have seen my huge mess on IG Stories. (It always gets worse before it gets better, right?) Needless to say, the plastic shelving and food items have been cleared, AND my husband volunteered to paint the room this time (bless him).
It went from a darker beige to a bright gray (Agreeable Gray that we already had on hand).
… and Now
