September marks the anniversary of the $100 Room Challenge… and this year we celebrate FIVE years! I remember the first time I attempted making over a room with a mere $100… I had no idea it would lead to hundreds of $100 makeovers with appearances on the Rachael Ray Show, The Jason Show, and Twin Cities Live. Other participants have had their work featured in various print magazines and online sites, like Apartment Therapy. Each year, around the time of our anniversary (and just before our September challenge) I like to share my very favorite $100 room makeovers from the previous year. Ready for some amazing inspiration?
Every January and September dozens of home bloggers take on the $100 Room Challenge in an effort to update a space in their home. While working with a budget of $100 is, indeed, a challenge, many participants use it to create some of the most gorgeous room makeovers I have ever seen.
