The $100 Room Challenge is about to celebrate its four year anniversary. As this milestone approaches, I love sharing some of my favorite $100 room makeovers from the past year. By the end of this post I hope you feel inspired, and see that a tight budget should never be a hurdle to creating a space you love.

Favorite $100 Room Challenge Makeover from the past year (2019-2020)

See that bathroom in the image above? That was my 14th room makeover done with a $100 budget. Fourteenth! And you know what? It’s my favorite one. Sure, it was the most grueling… and the most challenging, but it was also the most rewarding. (You can see the full reveal here.) But I’m not the only one taking on this challenge year after year. I’ve got a whole lot of others that have joined me, and I want to share some of my favorite $100 room makeovers from the past year. This post is broken down by spaces; starting with kids’ rooms (because they are adorable!), moving onto bathrooms, then bedrooms, laundry rooms; and last, but not least, a pantry.

Kids’ Bedroom Makeovers for Less Than $100

The Definery Co.: Nursery Reveal

This is not Megan’s first time on my list of favorite $100 Room Makeovers, her laundry room (done in September 2017) was another favorite of mine. This time, however, Megan was about to welcome a little one into the world, so at 30 weeks pregnant, she took on her nursery. I am loving the wood feature wall behind the crib.

Total Cost: $89.50

A Brick Home: Girl’s Bedroom Reveal

Marly actually interviewed me for her podcast before ever joining this challenge, and I gotta say, she created one amazing space her first go-round. While this room belongs to her little girl, I would stay here in a heartbeat. My favorite project is the DIY wallpaper. It turned out so well. And go check out the reading nook… seriously adorable.

Bathroom Makeovers for $100 (…ish)

The Frugal Homemaker: Bathroom Reveal

Christina blows me away every time she participates in this challenge. Her makeovers are absolutely incredible and have made my list of favorites time and again… like this Pepto-Bismol pink bathroom turned perfect-touch-of-farmhouse, or her average laundry room turned a-place-I’d-love-doing-laundry. Every room she touches turns out beautifully, and this bathroom reveal is no exception. You seriously have to head over to see everything she did (because one image doesn’t do it justice). The little toilet area has a faux brick wall feature that will knock your socks off! (Do people still say that?)

Total Cost: $105.07

Hello Central Avenue: Powder Room Reveal

Admittedly, this powder room had some pretty good features before Rebecca even started working on it. The tile floor. The pedestal sink. But Rebecca took a good space and made it even better. I love the herringbone stencil she used on the wall (always cheaper to stencil than buy wallpaper). And while it’s a simple addition, I love the paint-dipped stool she added in the corner.

$100 Powder Room Makeover featuring herringbone stenciled walls, a new DIY mirror, and small paint dipped wooden stool

Total Cost: $105.31

Bedroom Makeovers for Less Than $100

Savvy Apron: Lake House Bedroom Reveal

Sherry participated in this challenge twice in the past year, and both of her room reveals made my list of favorites. First was this Lake House Bedroom. I mean… what a difference. My favorite DIY project from this room was her rug makeover. Why? Because she was inspired by a rug costing $369 and managed to create her own version for less than $3!

Total Cost: $76.98

Neli Design: Master Bedroom Reveal

I absolutely love the vibrant colors and patterns in this master bedroom reveal. That stenciled wall?! Stunning. What I also love about this room reveal is the fact that Natalie created a completely different feel by switching the layout of the space.

Laundry Room Makeovers for Less Than $100

Savvy Apron: Laundry Room Reveal

And here she is again. Sherry worked on this space back in January, and how can you not fall in love with it? I mean, those buffalo check floors! Plus, you have got to see how she created that faux marble back-splash (you’re not going to believe it!)

Grace in My Space: Laundry Room Reveal

Sarah is such a sweet soul, and her taste in design is impeccable. If you are not following Sarah on Instagram, go give her a follow. Her posts are truly full of grace and love, and her home will definitely inspire you. In September 2018, Sarah took on her laundry room and gave is quite the update. My favorite part is what she did with her counter-top (Hint: not real wood).

Full Reveal: Grace in My Space Laundry Room Reveal

Total Cost: $131.44 (By eliminating the new rug, cost would have been $99.66)

A Heart Filled Home: Laundry Room Reveal

Leslea started off with a blank slate, but it didn’t take long to change that. I absolutely love the stenciled wall, which looks like cement tile (but a whole lot cheaper!). The addition of wood shelving warms up the space perfectly… and those farmhouse signs are always a favorite.

Total Cost: $99.12

Pantry Makeover for (close to) $100

Living Letter Home: Pantry Reveal

Before I even say one word about this pantry, go follow Carmen on Instagram (or subscribe to her blog) because this girl will have you laughing… and who doesn’t need a little joy in their days? Not only does Carmen make me smile, she sure can create a beautiful pantry. (Anyone else a sucker for a well organized pantry?) I know at first glance, you might just see that the items look more contained, but really look at the changes… the wire shelves came out and were replaced with wood, and my favorite thing is those cute crates she created down at the bottom.

After

$100 Pantry makeover with newly installed wood shelves, and food items organized in containers and crates.
