Need a little organization in your life? Here are some amazing family command center ideas to inspire you to get started.
I am a huge fan of “command centers”. They are a great way to keep a family organized, and each command center can be created to offer exactly what a family needs: maybe it’s a calendar to keep track of the kids’ school activities and sporting events, maybe you need a place to jot down menu ideas for the week, or perhaps you want a drop-zone for keys and mail. I have a simple command center in my office space, which includes a white board calendar and a wire organizer to keep paper clutter under control.
While this serves my needs, there are so many other options out there; whether you want to create a family command center in your mudroom, hallway, kitchen, or office. Take a look at these amazing command center ideas to keep your home organized.
Family Command Center Ideas
Farmhouse Style Command Center
This is such a cohesive command center with so many different elements. My favorite part is the use of wood throughout the display… and the clipboards at the bottom are perfect for switching out daily, weekly, and monthly printables to keep things organized.
Entry Command Center
This cute command center utilizes a small shuttered cabinet to anchor the space (and provide storage). My favorite feature is the wood-framed magnetic board that uses clothespins for magnets. Perfect for keeping track of tickets for a concert or reminders for the day.

Modern Family Command Center
This command center really stands out with its dark background (which are actually Peel & Stick Chalkboard Panels). I love how the acrylic calendar blends in, but the leather pouch, shopping list and gold accents pop against the black.
Office Command Center
This simple command center would be perfect in an office. I love the small card catalog style cubbies for storing small items such as paperclips.

Homework Station
This family command center could definitely double as a homework space with the use of the table and baskets. My favorite feature is the tiered wooden cubbies that allow for the storage of books and magazines… so much better than having them scattered on the kitchen table.
DIY Chalkboard Command Center
I love that this command center is fully contained on a wood framed DIY magnetic chalkboard so it takes up less space and can be moved to a different location if needed. My favorite feature is the DIY Wood Magnets used to create a weekly calendar.
Industrial Command Center
This simple command center has everything you need with wire baskets for paperwork, clipboards for menu-planning and to-do lists, and a cute monthly calendar.

Mudroom Command Center
This command center would work wonderfully in an entry or mudroom. I love the addition of small hooks for keys and purses.

Hallway Command Center
This command center is so perfect as we head back to school. I love how the clipboards are used here; with some displaying chore charts and others for homework.
